COVID-19: Five tips to change your days

This period has been unsure for everyone I guess. Trying to stay positive and safe it’s the most important thing to do. However, when your traveling/life plan has been canceled it knocks you down. So I decided to challenge myself doing something new. Something I haven’t had time before to do due to the full-time job. I hope to give you some good advice too. Here my 5 tips to challenge yourself during COVID-19.

NEW HOBBY: BLOGGING

The most important thing I’ve done is to improve my skills. I was thinking to open a blog for months. Since I started traveling last year something changed. Thanks to all of this free time I finally did it. I am so proud of myself. Even if it hasn’t been easy to open a blog and challenge myself, a lot of people support me every day. I believe in destiny and when I saw this article on TheBlondeAbroad a couple of weeks ago I decided the time has come.

CONNECTION WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY

Living abroad it’s never easy because you can’t speak to your family/friends every day. Especially when everyone is working. Thanks to this free time I am more connected with everyone. I feel the love and support of my friends. We decide to catch up every week and I know that this is gonna be the way to see them for the next months. I don’t know when I will be back to my lovely Italy. Therefore, I am grateful to catch up with them during this particular moment.

MORE READINGS

Reading has been important to me since I was young. However, growing didn’t give me a lot of time to read as I wanted to. Thanks to all of the free time due to COVID-19, I can read a lot. I start books that I could have start months ago but I didn’t have the time. I started to use an E-book because it saves you a lot of space and it’s a really good tool for who travels a lot. So now I am excited to read every day buying books in one click.

IMPROVE COOKING SKILLS

Cooking is another great passion I’ve matured during the years. Its something that really relaxes me. Especially cooking for others who enjoy my food makes me feel really happy! I usually cook pasta and I love baking. Thanks to all of this free time I learned a lot of new recipes. I discover this italian website that I really like. WORK OUT INDOOR

Cooking and eating more is nice when you do the right work out too. Before I was running twice per week but now we need to stay safe at home. So I decide to work out indoor in the morning. Get up early and work out makes you feel better. I suggest you give a try to PopSugar Fitness on youtube. I love those guys and your quarantine day couldn’t start better.
